Born on August the 8th 1951  , in Tăuteu (Romania), he is currently a pensioner.
In 1976, he was the founding president of the “Nufărul” PhotoClub Oradea (which he has been running for 45 years), individual member of the International Federation of Photographic Art (affiliated to UNESCO). The PhotoClub is considered to be the most representative club of Romania and is an official partner organization of “Euro Foto Art” Association of Oradea;
In 2008 he was the founding president of the “Euro Foto Art” International Association of Oradea, which he has been running since its establishment. “Euro Foto Art” Association is currently a Regional Member of the International Federation of Photographic Art (affiliated to UNESCO) and has concluded partnerships with 54 photographic societies from several European countries and Asia: China (China Photo Network Online) and Japan (Photogrpay Society of Japan, - Tokyo and “Japan Danube” Photoclub), Singapore (Asia Photographers Union, India (Bengal Photography Institute,, Creative Art Solution), Middle East (WPG Saudi Arabia (PIP Alexandria – Egypt), ”Abgineh” Photo Club Iran . The International Association counts more than 100 members, creators and supporters, from Austria, China, Ireland, Japan, Great Britain, Spain, France, the Republic of Moldova, Romania, Spain, USA and Hungary etc. ;
He was the president of the Association of the Art Photographers of  Romania (AAFR) between June 2007 and December 2012;
Since 2016 he is the vice-president of the Association of Hungarian Photoclubs (National Operational Member of FIAP) ;
He is the founder and the manager of the only permanent fine-art photography gallery of Romania: the ”Euro Foto Art” Gallery, which, in its 30 years of activity, hosted over 585 international exhibitions of photographic art and presented to the public more than 50.000 photos from all the continents of the world. In 1999 the Gallery became the Exhibition Center of the International Federation of Photographic Art Oradea - Romania (number 17 in the world)
He is the director of large-scale cultural events: the International Photo Festival "Carol Pop de Szathmári - Szathmári Pap Károly" (registered as trademark with the Romanian State Office for Inventions and Trademarks), the European Photo Festival and the Chinese Photo Festival in Romania. 
He is the coordinator of the national project entitled “Nationalities of Romania”, which has led until now to the organization of some national salons of photographic art and to the publication of some art catalogues. In this context, the following salons were inaugurated: “The Hungarians of Romania” (2011), “The Germans of Romania” (2012), “The Jews of Romania” (2013) and “The Roma of Romania” (2015), etc.
He is the director of the “Euro Foto Art” Publishing House, authorized by the Ministry of Culture, which edited a series of fine-art photography albums and catalogues.
He is the founder and principal curator of the first Romanian Photography Museum. He donated to the Museum bearing his name, located within theMuseum of The Fortress & City of Oradea more than 800 exhibits worth over $ 20.000
He is the co-organizer of the Romanian Photography Festival in China in partnership with the Romanian Cultural Institute in Beijing,
He has been a member of tens of juries of international salons of photographic art, organized under the patronage of FIAP, in China, Germany, Romania, Turkey, Serbia, Ukraine, Hungary, etc.
He has taken part in several international meetings in Thessaloniki (Greece) and in the meetings of the Chinese Fine-Art Photography Association (in Jiazuo, Tibet, Lishui, Beijing), etc.
His works (which were awarded several international medals and prizes) were part of more than 100 personal and group exhibitions in a number of European countries, but also in China, Japan, Bangladesh, New Zealand, Brazil, Argentina, etc.
He is the tutor in tens of Classes of initiation in the photographic art and technique, organized in partnership with “Nufărul” Photo Club of Oradea.
He is a member of honour of tens of photographic societies in several European countries and Brazil, but also member of the Japanese Fine-Art Photography Society of Kyoto and Hiroshima, etc.

他是罗马尼亚唯一永久性美术摄影画廊“Euro Foto art”的创始人和经理,该画廊在其30年的活动中,主办了585多个国际摄影艺术展览,并向公众展示了来自世界各大洲的50000多张照片。1999年,该画廊成为国际影艺联盟FIAP(奥拉迪亚-罗马尼亚)(世界排名第17)的展览中心。
他是罗马尼亚第一家摄影博物馆的创始人和主要馆长。他向位于奥拉迪亚城堡和城市内的博物馆捐赠了800多件展品,价值超过20000美元。
他是中国罗马尼亚摄影节的联合组织者,与北京罗马尼亚文化学院以及中国摄影在线合作,每年在中国和罗马尼亚举行。
他的作品(曾获得多个国际奖牌和奖项)参加了在欧洲多个国家举办的100多个个人和团体展览,还参加了在中国、日本、孟加拉国、新西兰、巴西、阿根廷等国举办的展览。
