卡特林・阿尔库 Catalin Arcu（瓦拉迪努姆摄影俱乐部）

Catalin Arcu is a Romanian fine art photographer based in Cluj-Napoca, specializing in conceptual narrative portraiture. His work draws inspiration from Baroque masters like Rembrandt and Caravaggio, translating classical painting techniques into contemporary photography through dramatic lighting and visual storytelling.

He has received international recognition from FIAP, PSA, and IAAP salons across Europe and Asia, as well as prestigious accolades from WPE, FEP, and other international competitions. His images have been exhibited internationally and featured in photography publications.

His artistic philosophy centers on human connection, meticulous craftsmanship, and preserving photographic processes-all elements physically created and captured in-camera rather than digitally generated. He strives to bring technical expertise, understanding of artistic narrative, and appreciation for both classical and contemporary photographic excellence.
